Give thanks to the Lord, call upon His name.

– Isaiah 12:4

Matching Gift Challenge

We are rejoicing in divine largesse and want to share the good news with you. A generous benefactor has pledged $1 million to the campaign … if we can raise an additional million. This matching gift could be what we need to reach our Phase 1 fundraising goal for our new monastery project, but it comes with an added challenge: a deadline.

The opportunity to contribute to the match began on November 1, the Solemnity of All Saints; it ends this coming April 1, Holy Thursday, when we will celebrate Our Lord’s gift of Himself to us in the Eucharist. We don’t think the liturgical framework is coincidental. God is blessing our efforts together, and reminding us that all things find their fulfillment in His time and within His loving providence.

Please pray with and for us and help us as you can. For more information about ways to assist us, please refer to our Participate page.

We also encourage you to view a short video about our life and to meet one of our donors, highlighted on p. 2 of our summer newsletter.

Giving Tuesday

As a specific way of spreading the word and asking for help in reaching our matching gift goal of $1 million, we are also participating in Giving Tuesday on December 1. Giving Tuesday is a worldwide coordinated opportunity for nonprofit organizations to encourage donations to their cause.

You can find additional information here. The Giving Tuesday website does not provide a link to our website; it is for informational purposes only.

Here are some ways you can help us in this endeavor:

  • Pray with and for us.
  • Email your family members and friends and invite them to support our new monastery project, especially on December 1.
  • Ask everyone you know to email others with the same invitation.
  • On December 1, please visit our website to donate, or donate in one of the other ways listed on our Participate page.

Please note: We would like to spread the word as much as possible but without using social media. Your cooperation in avoiding social media and keeping your communication to email or word of mouth is greatly appreciated.

We invite you to learn more about our life by viewing a short video:
